Vivino shows you what the crowd thinks of a wine. Sommy tells you whether you'll like it, based on your own palate. Sommy also remembers every bottle you've had and works across restaurant lists, shop shelves and food pairing. You can import your Vivino ratings, so you don't start over.

A general AI chatbot gives everyone the same answer. Sommy answers from what you've rated, saved and have in your cellar, so "what should I open for Thanksgiving?" gets your answer, not a generic list.

Yes. Sommy imports your ratings and history from Vivino, CellarTracker and VinoCell. If you import again later, Sommy adds only what's new.

Sommy has a free plan, Explore, and a paid plan, Cellar, at $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year. A free trial gives you full access to every feature. When it ends, you move to the free plan unless you upgrade.
